A quick look around
The home page, the top bar, search, notifications, your settings and the light and dark themes.
Fettlecode looks and works like the other Fettle apps: a top bar, a sidebar, and pages with tabs.
The home page
After you sign in, the home page shows:
- Reviews: changes waiting for your review, and ones you've reviewed that are still open. Everything you've been asked to review is also on its own page from the sidebar.
- Repositories you can see: yours, your organisations', and public ones.
- New repository, to make one, import one, or start an organisation.
The top bar
- Search finds code in every repository you can see. See Searching code.
- The bell shows your notifications: review requests, new revisions, approvals and requests for changes, merges, finished imports and failing mirrors. Choose how they're emailed in your settings (see Notifications).
- Your menu opens your settings and tokens, switches the theme, and signs you out.
Light and dark
Fettlecode follows your computer's light or dark setting. To choose one yourself, open your menu and pick Theme: light or Theme: dark (or Theme: system to follow the computer again).
Inside a repository
A repository has four tabs:

| Insights | How review is going: time to first review and to merge, and what's waiting |
| Settings | Access, branch rules, integrations, webhooks, mirrors and more (admins only) |
Organisations
An organisation holds repositories that belong to a group rather than one person. Its page has Overview, Insights, Members, Teams and, for owners, Settings. See Organisations, teams and access.
Your settings
Your menu → Your settings and tokens has:
- Notifications: how and when you're emailed.
- Personal access tokens, for Git over HTTPS and the API.
- Sign-in and security: two-step sign-in, passkeys, connected accounts, your password, and SSH and GPG keys.
- This Fettlecode (instance admins only): CI runners, AI helpers and the MCP server.
