Copyright © 2026 Fettle Software. All rights reserved, except as the licence below grants.

Fettledesk, Fettleboard and Fettlecode, including their source code, documentation, designs and interfaces, and these websites, are the work of Fettle Software. They're protected by copyright law in Australia and, through international treaties such as the Berne Convention, in most other countries.

The licence

The Fettle apps are source-available under the Fettle Community Licence: anyone can read the code, but it isn't open source. In short:

This is a summary. The licence itself (LICENSE), the free-use permission (FREE-USE.md) and the notices (NOTICE) are published with each app's source code and included in every copy of its Docker image, and they are what count. For a commercial licence, write to contact@fettle.software.

Trademarks

Fettle, Fettle Software, Fettledesk, Fettleboard and Fettlecode, and their logos, are trademarks of Fettle Software. You may use the names to refer to our software accurately, but not in a way that suggests we made, endorse or sponsor something we didn't, and not as the name of your own product. The rules are in TRADEMARKS.md, published with each app. Other names, such as Jira, GitHub or Microsoft 365, are trademarks of their owners and appear only to describe compatibility.

Other people's software

The Fettle apps are built with open-source components, each under its own licence. Those licences and notices travel with the software and aren't changed by the Fettle Community Licence.

Reporting copying

If you think someone is copying, rebranding or reselling Fettle software, or using our names to pass off their own, please tell us at contact@fettle.software, with links. We act on reports, including through takedown notices to the services involved.
