Privacy policy

Last updated 30 October 2026.

Fettle Software makes Fettledesk, Fettleboard and Fettlecode. This policy covers our websites (fettle.software, desk.fettle.software, board.fettle.software, code.fettle.software, waitlist.fettle.software and portal-teams.fettle.software), the Fettle waitlist, and email you send us. It also explains what the Fettle apps send when you run them. Questions: contact@fettle.software.

In short

Our websites

The waitlist

If you join the waitlist at waitlist.fettle.software:

Email you send us

When you email us, we keep the conversation in Proton Mail so we can reply and follow up. We don't add you to the waitlist or any list unless you ask.

Donations

If you donate, the payment is handled by the platform you use (such as GitHub Sponsors or Ko-fi), under that platform's privacy policy. We see only what the platform shares with us, such as your name if you choose to make it public.

The Fettle apps

GitHub

Issues, discussions and contributions on GitHub are public and handled under GitHub's terms and privacy statement. Please don't post personal or sensitive information there.

Sharing and overseas storage

We share personal information only with the services named above, which help us run our sites and send email, or when the law requires it. Cloudflare (based in the United States) and Proton (based in Switzerland) may store or process information outside Australia. We choose services that protect it to a standard at least as high as Australian law asks.

Keeping it safe

Our sites are served only over HTTPS. The waitlist can only be read by us, behind a password, and we keep as little as we need.

Your rights

Children

The waitlist is for adults and for organisations. If you're under 16, please don't join it; if we learn we've collected a child's details, we'll delete them.

Changes

We'll date any change at the top of this page. If a change affects how we use waitlist addresses, we'll tell the people on it before it applies.
